Dermatology

The dermatology department identifies and provides treatment for diseases on membranes such as skin, finger and toe nails, and hair. Treatment for atopy skin disease, contact dermatitis, allergic diseases, infectious skin disease, photosensitive disease, trichopathy, bullous disease pigmentory disease, skin tumor and other various skin diseases are provided at the department and with collaboration with other departments, the dermatology department always provides the highest quality medical service. With in-house ultraviolet treatment room, biopsy room, fungi examination room and laser room, the department is continuously improving the quality of treatment and diagnostics for patients. The professors with many experiences with clinical trials are in charge of individual majors allowing accurate diagnostics and treatment. With professor Kim Sang Tae(laser medical) specializing in leukoplakia, psoriasis and photosensitive skin disease and professor Seo Ki Suk(skin pathology) specializing in pimples, hair diseases, skin fungal diseases, and skin tumor are heading the department providing a more accurate and case-specific medical services. Aside from providing treatment, the department is actively enrolling medical training for medical school students for nurturing talent in dermatology and continuously places its efforts in lab experiments and research activities.
