Pediatrics
The department of pediatrics deals with health issues from after conception to youth(11-20 of age). Kosin University Gospel Hospital department of pediatrics are composed with outpatient clinic, ward, emergency room and newborn child intensive care unit and performs 24 hour on site treatment. The department treats infant and youth diseases like blood and tumor diseases, cardiac diseases, nerve diseases, respiratory and allergic diseases, newborn and premature baby diseases, endocrinology and metabolism disease, hereditary diseases, hereditary metabolism diseases, digestive diseases, infectious diseases and other diseases. By collaboration with other department pediatric specialists (pediatric cardiac, pediatric surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric hearing-impair, pediatric plastic surgery, pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric orthopedic, pediatric urology, pediatric psychiatry, pediatric rehabilitation), the department focuses its efforts to resolve infant and youth health issues swiftly and also concentrates on related research and education.
