Departments
Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine
The pain medicine department provides and manages anesthesia for pre-surgery patients and the pain management of post-surgery patients. In pain treatment, pain outpatient system is in operation and other tasks such as cancerous pain patient management, painless childbirth, critical patient breathing management and patient consultation for other departments are performed by the pain medicine department. Most of the surgery in the hospital is cancer surgeries and the department puts its efforts in post surgery pain from stomach cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, and liver cancer surgeries and cancerous pain. The department also operates a hospice program as well.
