With its 61 year experience, Kosin University Gospel Hospital surgery department acts as the leading department in following Sungsan Dr. Chang Kee Ryo’s spirit in cancer treatment. Highly experienced 12 professors specializing in fields of gastrointestinal tract surgery, intestine-rectum surgery, breast surgery, biliary surgery, thyroid surgery, pediatric surgery and blood vessel surgery are putting their best efforts in treating patients. Especially in the fields of stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer and biliary, the hospitals holds the largest number of clinical cases and surgery records in the Southern area of Korea solidifying its position as a cancer specialized hospital. The hospital also operates special clinics like colono-anal clinic, gastro-intestinal tract clinic, hepato-biliary-pancreas clinic and head and neck thyroid clinic and is the only hospital in Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do area that performs endoscope thyroid exeresis.
