Radiation oncology
In recent years, radiology has been advancing in a rapid pace due to the advancement in radiation imagery and computers. Thanks to the high tech radiation treatment equipment, formerly known to be incurable tumors are now becoming curable. Early stage head & neck cancer, cervical cancer and prostate cancer are now treated with high full recovery rate and for breast cancer, laryngeal cancer, esophageal cancer and colorectal cancer treatments utilize radiation treatment to preserve the organs. Radiation treatment is applied to many other cancers as full recovery treatment method or supplementary treatment in post surgery treatments.
